Lukácsy Cellar

In the family winery I work together with my father, György Lukácsy Sr, agricultural engineer and my brother, Zoltán Lukácsy, tourism economist and wine maker.
The three of us do all the work from vine cultivation through wine production and sales.

Viticulture has a long history in our family. As early as the 1900s our predecessors cultivated large areas of land in the Monor area. In the first third of the 19th century, Géza Lukácsy Sr was head of the local wine-growing community and thus an organizer of the life of Monor wine growers. At present the family cultivates a total of 4.5 hectares, on which we grow all the grapes we use to produce our wines. We make Rhein Riesling, Jubileum 75, Blaufränkisch, and Zweigelt, which are all available for sampling in the Lukácsy Cellar.
